Home Groups

Around 120 people a week meet in weekly or fortnightly home groups and youth groups. All groups meet in the evenings, but times may vary. We currently have groups meeting on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings at various locations in Bangor, Llandegai, Llandegfan, Llanfairpwllgwyngyll and Menai Bridge.

Most of our home groups contain people from a wide range of ages and backgrounds. We also have three groups specifically for young adults (including a number of students), meeting on Tuesdays in Bangor and Thursdays in Bangor and Bethel. Most of the homegroups use English as their main language, but there is one Welsh-language group, meeting in Bangor on Wednesdays once a fortnight.

Clusters

Several home groups combine together to form a cluster, in order to focus on sharing Christianity with those around us and to host regular events to which people can bring their friends. We currently have two active clusters.

The Main Thing

The cluster for young adults (aged approximately 18-35) usually meet on Saturday evenings, once every few months, and usually invite the youth of the church (aged 14-18) to join them. Their favourite event is a jazz café featuring coffee, cakes, tea and toasties accompanied by live music. Details of forthcoming events can usually be found on our news page and further information can be obtained from the church office.

Fusion

The mixed homegroup cluster, for people of all ages, has hosted a variety of events including a salsa evening and a fashion show (in aid of Tearfund).
