Bangor Community Grant Scheme
The Bangor Community Grant Scheme ran in 2010 with the aim of supporting community groups in Bangor with hassle-free funding of up to £500. The scheme was run by the Canolfan Penrallt Centre Committee and awarded grants to the following groups:
- Bangor University St John Ambulance Society: Equipment for new group including first aid bag, high vis jackets and training doll.
- Coed Mawr Community Centre: Purchase tables for the hall.
- The People of Bangor Community Group: Contribution to Carnival.
- Carers Outreach Service: Unpaid carers event in Treborth Nurseries. An activity day with guided walk, lunch and potting demonstration. Hanging baskets can be taken home.
- Gofod: Community arts event in Penrallt; room hire costs.
